Methane emissions are one of the great challenges in the face of the decarbonisation of our activities as human beings to tackle climate change.
Of these, those emitted by the Oil & Gas sector have just been regulated through a European Reglament that aims to control and reduce their emissions drastically, through, among others, LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) systems.
Services
EHS Techniques is the Spanish consultancy most experienced in the development and implementation of LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) systems in all kind of Oil & Gas Installations.
Nowadays, once the EU Reglament for methane emissions reduction in force, we are assisting several clients for the compliance of the new requirements from the inventory, identification and quantification of emissions to the reporting and OGMP liason.
Our qualifications starts from the design of installations to the operation of deep storage, transmission (TSO) and distribution (DSO) both above and underground.
Acreditations
Since 2014, EHS Techniques has been certified by the Spanish official certification body ENAC under the ISO 17025 standard as a test laboratory.
Furthermore, the certification applies to the UNE EN 15446 standard for measuring fugitive and diffuse emissions, a reference standard in Europe for implementing LDAR systems.
Technology
The technology used in the detection of fugitive emissions is varied and specific depending on the characteristics of each installation and the same happens with quantification technologies.
With extensive experience and numerous pilot campaigns, EHS Techniques proposes to each client the technology that best suits their needs and expected results.
This is done with total technical objectivity and, in fact, without commercial commitments, ensuring transparent and effective guidance tailored to each client’s operational and regulatory requirements.
Our team operates with state-of-the-art equipment internationally recognized in technologies such as OGI, infrared gas detection, and FID/PID for detection and quantification.
Additionally, we use High Flow Sampler, QOGI for quantification, VISR for flares, and AMDL/DIAL laser technology for underground pipelines to ensure precise measurements.
Thanks to our experience, we are prepared to assess our clients in regulatory and OGMP reporting during this current period of regulatory transition in Europe.
We also ensure clients are ready for future verifications and inspections provided for in the European Regulation, supporting compliance and operational efficiency in all processes.
Experience
This experience in Europe has also served to extend our services internationally, currently having projects in Poland, UAE, Mexico, Peru and other countries in which we can provide our services at still competitive costs.
Emissions reduction
Our GHG emissions reduction policy helps us deliver services with a low impact, aligned with the environmental objectives of our clients and global sustainability goals.
The emissions avoided thanks to our LDAR services are also included in our reports, helping clients strengthen their medium- and long-term decarbonization strategies effectively.
Company
The EHS Techniques team and its experience guarantee a close and flexible service adapted to our customers and the implementation of the most advanced technologies internationally at reasonable costs.
