At EHS Techniques, we believe that the energy transition is only possible if it is socially just and environmentally excellent. For this reason, we have contributed our technical vision, based on years of experience on the ground, to the consultations for RDL 07/2026.

Biomethane Excellence Seal
Our vision on the local integration of plants
We have transferred our methodology to the biomethane sector, where we support several developers in local integration. This has allowed us to assess what requirements a useful, verifiable, and accepted excellence seal should incorporate, ensuring it does not create a new administrative procedure but rather serves to accelerate existing ones.
Structure of the proposal
It is organized into three dimensions (social, territorial, and environmental) and the operational framework of the seal. Each block follows the same pattern: Summary (key concept), Experience (verification in real projects), and Indicators (verifiable metrics).

Excellence Criteria in Renewables
Guarantees for the territory and advantages for the developer
Differentiating projects based on social, territorial, and environmental excellence criteria represents a decisive step toward local acceptance; offering guarantees to host communities and comparative advantages to developers.
Approach of our contributions
They are structured highlighting those case studies that have had a positive impact on projects carried out by EHS Techniques, based on our experience in the sector.

Renewable Acceleration Zones (RAZ) and mitigation
Necessary planning for the energy transition
The declaration of Renewable Acceleration Zones (RAZs) is a necessary planning tool to achieve the set targets. These are areas where deployment is expected not to generate significant impacts and where the authorization procedure can be streamlined.
Our technical contribution
Our technical contribution provides a vision of territorial integration to ensure that social and territorial excellence becomes a decisive step for the local acceptance of the project.
